Somehow everyone beats us to the ice cream truck. We have to wait for everyone and their entire families to order their little ice cream snacks, nobody else is patient enough to wait for the families plus us to order, so we’re always the last in line.
We wait until the sun has set before getting to the front of the line, but I don't mind. I think it’s fun to see what everyone likes to get and wonder, are they confident in their order? Or are they not quite sure if they're making the right decision? Do they get the same thing each time? Are they trying something new? Are they thinking about me, waiting?
The ice cream trucks in my town are so strange, they don’t have many of your typical popsicle choices, just a few of the classics, bomb pops, those SpongeBob ones with the cursed eyeballs, tweety birds… They are heavy on the soft serve options.
Cones, dip cones, Sundays, floats, banana splits, milkshakes. They also have a lot of chip options, hot chips and cheese, chili nachos, tostilocos.
Anyways, after waiting in line for like forever, I got a vanilla soft serve cone dipped in chocolate with rainbow sprinkles.
Although it was super cute, I instantly regretted getting the sprinkle dip and wish I had just gotten plain vanilla. Here’s a picture, but be warned, I already ate most of the chocolate lol.

Even though it wasn't quite what I actually wanted, It was still delicious and definitely worth the wait.
This isn't the ice cream truck we visited this time, but this is one of the trucks that comes by that I love. Look at that mouse !!
